So this whole site started as a way for me to send songs to two of my friends, since my e-mail was getting clogged up every day. A few months later it's up to 19 followers and 523 unique visitors (as of 2:10 PM). That means that 523 separate people have been on the site...I have no idea how that's even possible. And I have no idea how it's possible for Reverend Okungbowa Edogon to get my e-mail. But I hope my man likes the music!

Jesus Christ. Sir, I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself and
DIVIEN GRACE MINISTRY .Ministries. My name is Rev Okungbowa Edogun. This
is my tenth year preaching the glorious gospel of Christ. My wife and I
founded DIVIEN GRACE MINISTRY in may 1980. I stand as an itinerant
revivalist. In 1993 during a series of meetings. I was holding in Northern
State of (Nigeria), an old fashion Holy Ghost revival broke out that
lasted several months. This movement propelled DIVIEN GRACE MINISTRY
around the word, reports of the revival reached Northern country in
Africa. I began working in Northern Muslim nation in Africa by
distributing literatures books and bibles on revival and my sermon tapes.
Since 1994, we have been evangelizing independently by faith basis only
among the Muslims States and other tribal areas who do not know Christ nor
heard of Christ. We have some full time native evangelists we all
evangelism among the neglected, down trodden people unreached gospel
areas, we seek to envangelize the multitudes of the lost souls and needy
to bring them to Christ at any cost. There are still millions and hundreds
of millions waiting to hear the gospel. We find many gospel hungry and
thirsty souls who are coming forward to accept Christ as their personal
savior through our mission
We daily face lots of troubles and trials in our faith mission, due to the
lack of financial assistance. We are totally dependent on God for all aid
will help us to share the love and compassion of Christ with those who
have not know Christ nor heard of Christ. We are begging you with this
latter with many prayers and tears for your kindly and loving partnership
with this faith mission. We need large numbers of 60 Bibles for the new
converted Muslims in our Ministry.
Beloved, I ask that you would please commite yourself and your church to
pray for this great soil winging ministry, your earnest prayer will means
so much to my wife Joy and 5 children and i. Also please pray for my
dedicated staff that God power and grace will be with them and that our
financial needs will be met so we can continue to distribute and send free
Christian literature and bibles to the Muslims states in Nigera. I live
you with this.

I'm usually skeptical about those tracks from unknown, independent rappers because it's usually shitty quality with recycled, tired beats, but this dude's got serious talent and this whole thing sounds realllllll good.

Wowwww this is pretty gay. These songs are on the rap/r&b site I usually check every day, and there's no picture posted, so I listened to the songs and thought they were awesome. Then I did some Googling and found out these guys are some kind of boy-band pop-group from LA called "Varsity Fanclub"...you guys probably know more about this but it's all new to me. Anyway, I finally found some pictures and they speak for themselves...you're better off just downloading the songs and shielding your eyes so you don't feel so bad about yourself.
That being said, the songs are sick, these guys are like the new NSYNC

My man Lil' Eddie back again with "Sequel"...he's getting more legit, this song is produced by Bangladesh (you'll recognize the intro from Weezy's 'A Milli')...it's not as good as some of the others, like "Harlem Boy" and "Surrender" (check the archives), but I love this little guy.

Jason DeRulo is becoming a big Bangkok hit, especially for the "Song of the Week" I posted a few weeks back "Watcha Say." He's 20 years old and has written for Lil' Wayne, Cassie, Birdman, and a bunch of others. His first "official" single is Algebra, but "Watcha Say" and "We Could Make Love" are much better in my opinion. Check out the songs below:

1) Mickey Rourke and Billy Bob
2) Lots of 80's music and just the 80s in the general
3) Bret Easton Ellis ("American Psycho") adapted his book himself, so it didn't get fucked around with
It looks like one of those movies that's going to be an underground cult favorite for all the high school and college kids who totally dig the angst and drug-riddled 80's L.A. culture and can relate to the broken-family-due-to-drug-and-alcohol-abuse. The kids just love these kinds of story-lines. I'll just have to make sure I see it before anyone else does.
